The vision that became the ICON family of companies was started on two TV trays in the spare bedroom of my home in 2003. January 2004 ICON International, Inc. was incorporated and our freight brokerage company was up and running. A very busy year brought on the idea of starting an asset based motor carrier division so in April 2005 ICON Transportation, Inc. opened it’s doors with our first owner operator. ICON has grown from our humble beginnings but has never strayed from them. ICON is not a volume company, we are a customer focused service company and we operate off the quality of our service to our customers not the volume. ICON has been a part of some very important events and received many accolades over the years that I am proud of but nothing is more important than our customer’s gratitude and their returned business.
